I'm not sure if that'll work but I'll try it. Mine eventually stops if my belt isn't on, i just don't want to hear it all all

I think it will, my truck doesn't beep at all. So there has to be a way. Let me know if it does.

I did this procedure this morning on my '10 Taco. Worked great and I'm enjoying the peace and quiet (I always have a heavy tool bag on my passenger seat).

See, I don't have that problem. Mine beeps for 20 seconds once I start driving. It starts slow, then speeds up. Doesn't matter if someone is in the passenger seat.

I don't wear my belt. I walked away from an accident that I should not have survived because I didn't have my belt on. Haven't worn it since

-KEEP YOUR FOOT OFF THE BRAKES THROUGH ENTIRE PROCESS
-get in truck and shut the door.
-turn key on and get your insterment panel on ODO and turn key off.
-turn key back on, as soon as u do that press reset knob.
-hold reset knob for 12_15 seconds and fasten seat belt.
-xxxx miles should turn to b_on.
-release and press one time, it should say b_off.
-wait for it to reset back to miles and turn key off.

It still dings each time you first put the key in but not after.

I'm new here, but I don't understand why everyone gets so bent out of shape because someone doesn't wear their seatbelt. It's their choice if they're driving, they could only hurt themselves by wearing it.

But to the OP, yes, that mod works on the 2011's.
