My seat became noticeably more comfortable after ~6k miles--I think it needed to be broken in.

Gotta keep the wife happy! I'm single so my happyness is all that matters.

I'll keep Beavers Bend in mind. I cant hike much due to my health but being able to explore in the truck satisfies me enough. Trying to get my health a little better to be able to hike more but its a never ending uphill battle. One day i'm good and the next day has to come to find out how i'm doing. Luckily, as long as I can move around somewhat ok, I can be comfy in my truck no matter the road!

if that is case go up in the mountains there in Talamino drive. there is great off trails and lots of them up there and you will really enjoy them along with scenery. You can go on line and type in off road trails in Tahimena drie in Oklahoma and find them.

Thanks for the info! I've booked marked all the areas you have recommended for my future visit. There's nothing better than getting out and seeing all the beautiful country available to enjoy.

my wife has a bad heart and she was born with that is reversed called corrected congenial heart. she was too the point we got her a electric scooter just to be able to go to anything when they put pace maker in and helped a lot now she can feels better than she has in 10 years for now but is having other issues She had us get bikes and started walking and hiking about 6 months ago with this pace maker. Like I said she now has other issues that have been developed but hopefully we get those ok by spring because we hope she gets a couple years of being able to be active or longer if possible. one day she will just have to get transplant at some point. So we are trying to take advantage of this new life style for as long as it may last for her.

Im 5'10" 175. I've got 23K+miles on mine. 5k+ out to Utah and back in 14 days. 90 miles a day round trip to work. I've never been uncomfortable driving. Now, They aren't as good as my last vehicle seat. But they were leather, heated with all the bells and whistles. I don't have any problems with them. I can see where taller folks might not be comfortable in them.

I found that I needed a half step in the recline setting for me. I shimmed the front seat bolts with two washers to pick the front of the seat up ever so slightly which worked good for me.

Bought it up north and drove it down south. About a 7 hour drive. Uncomfortable? Yes. You just have to find your comfort zone. Literally. If you try to drive it with proper egronomics, your arm and shoulder will ache. Find your comfort zone, slouch, ganster lean, or whatever and you're good for those long trips. Short trips, pur your favorite song on and just jam away until you get to your destination. The positive will negate the negatives.
