anyone have issues with the seat hurting your backside? Im not a big guy, 175lbs, and i just cant get comfortable in the seat. How long should they take to break in? I got almost 5k on it now.

I feel like my seats have a ton of lumbar support when it's cranked up. It's a nice surprise but I'm with the complaints it's not a comfortable seat at all. I plan on trying to adjust the hell out of it one of these days because I can't really explain why it's not comfortable I just know it is.

I had an issue with the seats 25 minutes into a test drive when I first looked at them in december of 2015. The Limited has better seats in my opinion. Not sure if they are stuffed differently or its just the leather, but I haven't had issues when I got the Limited after making a hard decision between TRD OR and Limited. Almost 2 years later, back is relatively pain free. Some of it is from old Iraq injuries though.

It's uncomfortable on my lower back and my right leg or asscheek goes to sleep on drives over 90 minutes

It's too close, or leaned back too far, or not enough. Really needs a power seat to fine tune the adjustments.

My truck goes in for its first service next friday, they are going to take a look at the seat and see if something is up. I sat in the passenger seat...no problem. They should be the same, but not the case. I found a thread where a guy had an auto upholster tweak the seat, so if toyota cant do anything, i will take it to the guy who fixed the seat on my '11 last spring.

I purchased a seat cushion off Amazon for lumbar support. any road trips over an hour and my ass was killing me. The seat cushion helps and raises me up off the floor a bit putting more weight off my butt and some onto my hamstring area. I am 6'1" 200lbs so really needed something.

No problems at all, comfortable for me, I'm not huge (6' 200lbs) but not small and it's fine!!!

They're not comfortable at all in my opinion. But now I'll probably get ban for a few days for having an opinion that doesn't praise the Tacoma. Right 98?

Not great. Takes me a ton of minor adjustments to get everything right and tolerable.

The feels get real after I need to let someone drive it though.... Then it's like back to square one.

I didn’t feel comfortable for a while (lower back pain) but now its fine. I was able to adjust the seat, steering wheel and mirrors to what is comfortable to me. The other thing I did was exercise (walk/run). Most back problems are caused by bad posture and lack of exercise. In other words, don't spend so much time sitting around. I do agree that the seats in the Tacoma aren't the most comfortable seats for long drives but they aren't that bad either.

Hmm, I find the Taco fairly comfortable, does not bother me at 5-11, ~180lbs. Most cars or trucks I'm fine with, but my CR-V was VERY uncomfortable for some reason.

i spent $200 and had a professional upholstery shop carve out a bucket, fix the foam, and make it the most comfortable seat i own. that was after i couldn't drive more than 90 minutes before my right leg would go numb every single drive. it was horrible before. i can drive for hours and hours now, zero complaints.

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
Oh not at all. It has nothing to do with your opinion. It's when other opinions didn't match yours that you became combative. You violated the CoC with some name calling and bashing. And now it appears you have a severe case of butthurt. I would suggest putting it behind you and moving on.
