Hello everyone. im in the market for some seat covers for my 2012 and wondering if anyone has any suggestions. I did a google search on them and actually found genuine TRD seat covers from Toyota PT218-35052-01 however they list them only for 2005-2008 yet the seats in the pic look just like mine on my 2012. Is there really a difference between those years and my 2012 seats?

From what I've read on here they fit snug, headrests won't fit. Also side air bags in your seats. These don't have an opening on side for that.
I have Wet Okoles 6 years on my seats since truck was new in Jan 2013. No issues, fit like a glove, quality made. I've spilled full cup of coffee, muddy dog feet, gardening business tools etc. Seats are like new underneath. No rips or tears. I have black on black no piping.

What’s your budget and what materials are you looking for? You have the neoprene type like wetsuits or you have cordura nylon think tac vest or you have carhart covers like the pants. Auto anything and Amazon is your friend. Plenty of options.

This. Plus, there have been at least 2 different multi page threads here on TW in the past 2 months if you do a search on “seat covers”. Good info and many pics included.

I ordered some wet okoles and they're due in tomorrow. My seats, esp driver are getting a little worn looking, so I wanted to make it look good again

Yeah I'm now leaning toward the wet okoles. Was looking at the coverkings but it seems the wet okoles are more favored. I'm gonna give them a call and see if they can add a custom Toyota or Tacoma logo on them or something to that effect.

Okoles are nice but not worth the $$ difrence from Coverking Neosupreme. I got a discounted set from @Swank, PM him and see what he's got. Make sure they fit the folding pass seat if you have one.

Wow. Nice indeed! I havent ordered anything yet still currently debating on to which ones I go with. Heard a lot of good things about clazzio but for a lot more money than Okoles. 2 questions, did you have to call them to get the logo because I couldnt find any Toyota logos on their website? And how long did it take for you to receive yours after ordering?

I've ran Wet Okoles in all of my vehicles since 06 (4 Tacomas, 350Z, CRV, Toyota Pickup, and more), and love them for my purpose and daily use. Other than protecting the seats, they're comfortable and make the ride cushier.

I ordered mine locally and for ME the wait time was 6 to 8 weeks, but the local shop bulk orders and I'm in Hawaii so everything barges over. I would ask the website for the lead time for you.
The local dealer had a binder of logos to choose from and options, like having a rear seat pocket or not.

I've always gotten black seats with black piping. Just a visual personal preference since I think it looks the best and it doesn't get hot.

I've heard good things about Clazzio's too so I think it might be worth also looking into that, if that's your style.

I called them and did the order. I told him i wanted the "tacoma" logo in black. They do that logo all the time, and will know exactly what you're talking about. It took several weeks for the covers to come in. I'd say 3-4 weeks. I called a few times for order status updates. They always answer the phone right away.

I went with Bartact. If you’re not looking for leather or neoprene these are pretty nice. Fit tight and don’t slide under my butt.
