Thinking about installing some nice seat covers in my 06. One of the niggling little things I don't like about the truck is the sea gull grey interior. The light panels seem to show dirt and stains. Anybody using them? Whose and where?

there are a couple of other threads to check out on this but here's my input...

i have cover king black cordura seat covers on my taupe '07 buckets with center console. i like the black because it covers the easily-staining taupe but still matches the back dash and trim panels and black rubber floor mats. cover king seat covers fit amazingly well, i'm very happy. they also sell "wetsuit" like neoprene covers but are pricy (at least $100 more). also, neoprene is less durable and only highly water-resistant while the cordura is basically bomb-proof and advertised as waterproof. all for something like $150 for both seats, including headrests. and, they're not uncomfortable. so if you're going for functionality, i recommend cordura. but neoprene may be nicer to sit on and perhaps look nicer.

lastly, they're a work to put on well, but once on they look like they're made that way. and they have seat-back pockets to boot! www.coverking.com

    good luck!

I have the trd covers. they are great, but they are a little annoying because they come loose when i get in and out of the vehicle and i have to constantly readjust them. It's a simple fix to make them stay, but i haven't gotten around to it. I'm going to get a cover king cover for the rear.

I have never had to readjust the TRD seatcover. The hard part is getting the tube all the way in the seat, that will prevent movement

I just put the TRD covers on last night and they are great. They look really cool but I dont know how they will be when it is really hot. The center is kind of a rubbery surface and I dont think they will breeth very well.

Sheepkins fit great, right over the headrests and give a nice air space between you and the seat. I had a set on my Ranger seats I moved to the Tacoma and the Ranger seats look new still after 5yrs with the Sheepskins on them. The usually come in Black or Dk.Gray. About $60-80 apiece. Washable as they are real wool sheepskin.

Kragen Auto and online. Punch up on Google Sheepskin seat covers or maybe car sheepskin seat covers. Costco has some , they're nice ,but $90. The Kragens were $55. Buy real ones they last forever.

TRD for me, they do get warm when in the sun for a long time but no more than leather does. Mine have been on for a year and have not had to adjust once, a good product.
