From past experience, I think it's fair to say these will last a decade under normal circumstances. (sans the piping)
Only downside is that the neoprene is damn sure hot during summer in the south.

The Clazzio $300 range ones on eBay are "S.Leather" aka PVC ones that are $399 on clazzio website.
I just picked up real leather Clazzio with the TW code and gotta say they're really nice.

The PVC are nice too but a little grippy when the weather is hot.

I'd totally be okay with the PVC version, but I'm putting heated seat pads underneath so went with the leather instead for the durability.

I wanted the OEM look without replacing factory upholstery that's why went with Clazzio. Also I intend to keep the truck for a while so thought the price was worth it.

I went with highest quality and cheapest cost I could find. I have Carhartt in the gravel color on the front, they will see the most use and wear and found them on Amazon warehouse deals damaged packaging but new for about $135 total. The fit is not perfect, but you can tell they are made for the seats. I'm sur there are pics around of what they look like on. I also found a split neoprene seat cover for the back from Caltrend that are normally $250 new on Amazon for $113 so I snagged that and put it on the back. For being mismatched they look decent to me since the rear looks like factory seats it just looks like the front seats have covers. Either way seats are protected from dog and kids. If I find another matching cover for cheapo before the return window closes I'd buy it and ruturn one of them but otherwise not worth the extra $150 or so lol. They likely won't last the life of the truck and maybe I'll find a cheap set of Clazzio's by then. I just wanted to get something on there before I spilled coffee on my seats poppin wheelies :D

    400 miles and counting... ;-)
My son bought a used 01 Ranger with Wet Okale covers. One was damaged, other looked new. they wanted almost $100 to replace the one 8x10 piece your butt sits on.
By the time we sold the truck a year later, buth covers had continued to fall apart. They looked like crap. I could never recommend them to anyone.

Does anyone have the beige clazzio's? I'm kind of curious what the color actually looks like. The only picture I could find on their website was the stock photo that doesn't look like a good representation. Also would the beige look stupid with an otherwise black interior?

I just got the Dickies ones because I’m only using them if I get myself filthy or doing a dirty job. they go on quick and are waterproof and cheap. No way I could deal with seat covers being on all the time so that’s my solution. I’d rather just buy a new seat or OEM fabric if I fuck them up somehow. I actually really like how the OEM fabric looks and it seems fairly stout.

    TACOMAWORLD for $100 off.

They have galleries of their covers installed in a wide variety of models from several different manufacturers.

Is that the "TRD Pro" double stitching? I like it a lot, I'm planning on getting it on mine when I order them next week.

I traded in my built 2012 JK on my Tacoma, and had used Bartact extensively in the Jeep. When I finally got the Taco, I called them up and they shipped out another high-quality set of seat covers immediately.

Compared to the Jeep, the front seats were kind of a pain in the ass to install (especially because with the dogs i'll have to remove, wash & re-install them all the time), but the rear sets went in easily- and even allowed me to hide the center seatbelt, which is a HUGE plus for me since my boy who rides in the back has had a habit of eating them (Audi allroad, Honda Accord & Jeep have all fallen victim to his appetite previously).

I also got the center armrest cover from Bartact, to help protect that when my girl climbs into and out of the front seat for our daily rides.

Additionally, I got the seatbelt covers from Bartact before I traded the Jeep in. I honestly can't say that I'd recommend them, but don't mind giving my business to an American company who makes high quality stuff. They were also kind of a pain in the ass- I had to move them manually whenever I got in or out of the seat, and they prevented the belts from retracting fully because they fit too tightly.

The Bartact set I had in my JK lasted almost 3 years before starting to show signs of wear, and that was with removing to wash them every 3 or 4 months or so.

In the event I decide to change things up, it'll be to go to leather from leatherseats.com - They aren't covers, but actually replace the factory fabric. I'm not sure how they'll stand up to my dogs, but what the hell, I can't take it with me.

Had good luck with Ruff Tuff covers. These were $350ish for the fronts. Nicely padded, great fit , seams are holding. Tons of different options.

    None yet!
I've had the complete opposite experience. We have bought 5 different sets of Wet Okole's for various cars over the years and they held up great and looked as good the day we sold the cars several years later, as the day we bought them. Two were convertibles as well so had top down exposure.

My wife's current set is coming up on 4 years old now and they're on her DD Wrangler that has spent the last 3 months with the doors and top off. After that stint, sitting in the TX summer sun all day while she is at work, the bright yellow color has sun faded, but the black has not... however as far as "falling apart" no they're still functionally fine. One caveat is we have no kids and no pets... so aren't hard on our interiors in that way... but I'll put in a vote in favor of Wet Okole's any day.

I noticed my cloth seats have an airbag tag on the side, assuming the airbags are embedded in the seats. Perhaps adding a cover would affect the functionality of these airbags?

Select a cover that's airbag compliant. They make them with a tear away section for seat airbags.
