Clazzio’s leather inserts are perforated so they “breath”. Or are you talking full-on A/C and heat?

found katzkin.com but no prices on website, have to call for a "consultation." Hopefully they don't cost more than a Kidney.

Have several collector car friends that have Katzkins. They love them. They look and feel great. Although some of their seats are heated, I don't know of any that have A/C... no such thing back in the day. ;) IIRC materials and labor ran around $1500 to $2K for two bucket seats so they are not cheap. Plus it depends on how much you want to customize them - colors, stitching, logos, etc. Not a DIY like Clazzios and others either. Seats have to come out, current covers removed and the new Katzkins are installed over existing foam (or supplemented/new foam). Basically a complete reupholstery job usually done by one of their authorized installers.

We were looking at a new Venza for the wife the other day. She dislikes all black interiors and the dealer offered to reupholster all of the seats in whatever color leather she liked for $1600, which really isn't a bad deal. Once you get a ballpark quote for Katzkins you might want to check with a reputable local shop to see how much they would charge for something similar using their own materials.

That's funny because years ago I was looking at a Chevy Colorado and didn't like the stock upholstery. At the time I really wanted leather. The dealer actually had the Katskin catalog there and that's what they were selling customers. They could have had it done in for me before I took the vehicle home and rolled it in to the purchase and finance.

The Clazzios sure look nice. Any trimming involved with installation?

I've been looking at the Shearcomfort ones. The luxury line is pricy but apparently fits perfectly, using the blueprint for the truck. They have a dealer in BC which is a bonus, although they are made in the USA.

I hesitate because of all the talk about messing up the air bag and electric seat adjustment wires...

Wow! Those are some eye-popping designs!

No experience with those, we have Clazzios, but I can’t imagine they’re much different when it comes to installing them. You just have to be careful where you run the various straps, etc. Unbolting the seats is easy. (No need to remove them.) Then you can tip them back and forth to see what you’re doing underneath.

I’ve used Wet Okole for years. Getting ready to buy a set for my 23. Always been very impressed with them. My only issue is that for me they tend to be pretty warm. Because they’re waterproof they don’t breathe well. On hot days by back will get sweaty in a hurry if I’m not using the a/c.

Clazzio makes great seat covers that won’t break the bank! Easy to clean too
