Took out my rear seat to create a Murphy couch for the dogs. Nothing special compared to some of the builds here but got some awesome inspiration from you guys

1.5x3 backing, whacked it with a hammer into the factory bolt heads to get my marks, drilled and counter suck, then used new bolts to anchor down. M8x1.25 bolts if I remember right. Counter sink with a 13/16 bit, otherwise your 13mm socket will get stuck

1.5x4.5 piece screwed into the backing, this created a 1.5x1.5 space for the wood to hinge

28x52 3/4 sanded plywood, I recall leaving a 1.5" space on either side from the trim, indoor outdoor carpet tacked on top. Wish I had cut the corners back so it'd fold all the way up

1.5x3 legs screwed on, wish I had put the legs in a different spot, may adjust it

Whole thing unbolts and comes out in a few minutes. Definitely some road noise but I'm half deaf anyways so mawp
