I’m 5’11’’ and never noticed the mirror blocking my view. Seat position was fine in my 2016.

I'll get a picture of my view after I pick her up today.

It's only really an issue on a 4-way stop. I have to remember to actually move around to look to my right before going instead of just turning my head to look.

The rear view mirror on my 2017 is double adjustable, you can not only move the mirror end but also adjust at the windshield too.

If that's all the issue I have as well, then I'll be good. The 2010 Focus has the most abysmal blind spots of any vehicle I've owned. It's my only complaint about it other than it's not a truck. I have to check to the right rear 3 or 4 times before I back out of my driveway. The front door posts are just as bad if not worse. I didn't have that issue with the Taco when I test drove it, just reduced pavement visibility during left turns.

Never noticed that on my 2016 and will check it out on my 2020.

For some reason many people miss that, but the extra pivot point helps.

It’s hard initially if it’s never been moved. I kinda remember man handling to see if it would adjust and it finally moved. I have mine all the way up so basically the bottom of the mirror is in line with the bottom of the tss windshield box. Views no problem for me

I think a few folks have installed Scheel-Man seats. Here's one thread:
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/scheel-mann-in-a-gen-3.583374/

Also, I believe it was said that FR-S / BRZ seats are almost drop-ins?

The BirdDawgIndustries 2nd Gen mirror riser works on the 3rd Gens also. A bit of modding needed for 2018+.

I checked and you are correct. Never fail to learn things here in spite of the overwhelming bs.

Awesome! I ended up pushing mine upward a little bit to get the best view.

I don't understand it with toyota and these tacoma's. Here they built a gen1 tundra with mech seats that were perfect for my 5'10'' frame. They still can't seem to get the 2020 power seat quite right, plus the steering wheel tilt is worthless imo. Lets say i've gotten use to the tacoma seating, but its far from perfect. After all these years of their owners complaining about the tacoma seating, you'd think by now they'd get it right.

End of the week and weekend were busy, but finally, here's my view of the driver's side. It's really only a problem when I'm turning left. I guess I can just ride around UPS style and only make right turns. :D
