I like the low seats. I broke my femur a couple years ago, so when i drive something with a taller seat, my leg starts to hurt from thigh contact on the front part of the seat. The taco seats are low so I can drive across the US with no pain issues.

My girlfriend drives an 08 jeep, and I cant drive that thing 30 miles w/o my leg hurting.

    PS--

I'm only 5'6, so i have short legs

Did the spacer deal -- works just fine for me.

Raised it 1in which is perfect. The pin up on the front mount still locks into the body and with the longer bolts it is IMO just as secure.

I purchased some longer bolts. To test it out I used some blocks of wood in the back and some 4mm thick washers up front. I just started this project yesterday so I have not done the final mod. If you want to raise the same hight front and back you will need to extend the bolt hole up front.

This is because due to the pint and since the bolt mounts at an angle it will not allow for both to engage at the same time. So far the front is raised 1/4in and the back is 1 in. I am still testing it out to see if I need to raise the front or lower the back. Like I said -- with this setup no modification to the mounting bracket in needed.

When I have it dialed in I will post some pictures

I like the back hight (1in) it's the front where I may need to adjust.
