Manual raises up/down equally front to back, power seat can tilt, well with other brands anyway.

88 Camry and 12 Xterra had 2 knobs on the side, could raise/lower the front and back independently, that was nice.

Just wanted to chime in to this old thread. I have been making rear lift seat spacers since late 2018 for Toyota trucks and suv's. I make them for several makes of vehicles. I never made front spacers for Toyota because there are 200+ Chinese sellers of those. Someone mentioned the bolts. The oem bolts are grade 8.8. I always provide grade 10.9 which has at least 30% more tensile strength and 30-40% more shear strength. The floors will buckle before the bolts will break. I am making a few rear bracket test sets for 4th genners by request.

I like this and I am 6’3” 340 lbs and can’t stand the rear of my seat feeling like I am in a recliner with my but dragging the ground. Let us know how much and if we can adjust it for different size to hit are sweet spot?

(EDIT: I just realized that you are still waiting for your truck) In my 2nd and 3rd gens I felt like I was sitting in a bucket without spacers. These have been in my last 3 trucks and I personally did it to relieve my own lower back stress particularly on long drives. I did not create them to sell them however it just developed into a productive hobby. I only make them at 1 inch heights. 5 or 6 years ago I made them in different heights. 1 inch has always been the most popular. I never would make them any taller because I try to stay within the NHTSA recommended seat pan angle recommendation. There are studies that prove raising the rear too high can result in increased submarining injuries to front seat passengers involved in frontal collisions (sliding forward under the steering wheel or dash). I have some being delivered tomorrow to two 4th gen members. I do still have 2 extra pairs. If interested then send me a PM.

Just an update: 2 sales of new style rear spacers, both happy with comfort, pocket faces down onto mounting hump in floor, flat side up. Not as I intended however they are stable. Mounting floor humps under bracket would not work with flat washer style spacers sold elsewhere. 1 customer now wants 2nd set for passenger seat. 1 customer still on the fence. Neither has returned them for a refund.

Seat spacer pictures installed. Unpainted mounted with pocket facing down over the mounting hump. Painted (by customer) mounted with pocket facing up as planned.

Question about these rear seat jackers. I have a 25 Tacoma and I notice that at the front end of the seat rails, aft of the bolt there is also what looks like a rivet. Is this the same as 24 and does it interfere with the raising of the rear end of the rails? With that rivet in place I could imagine the rails needing to flex when raised at the rear, which might cause binding when sliding seat forward/back?

Also, I can’t quite tell from the pics above, what are the pockets you describe? Do those fit around the mounting hump or what?

NOTE THAT THESE ARE ONLY FOR THE REAR BRACKETS. NOT FOR THE FRONT.
POCKET: The pocket was initially designed for 2005-2023 Toyota and other brand vehicles. Under every vehicles rear bracket there is a boss on the bracket, and sometimes formed into the bottom of seat rails, that fits within the top pocket of the spacer. Some bosses are round, some square and some rectangular. This is a preventative safety measure and I am the only one that makes this design. If you place body weight in a seat with my spacers, without installing the bolts, you cannot knock the spacer out with a 2 pound hammer. Flat top style spacers could never pass that test. I call this my SAF-T-LOK™ spacer. Picture a solid ball, like a bowling ball, and place the ball on a flat floor. It rolls at the touch of a finger. Place that ball on a solid block, with the top having a shallow radius pocket, and the block would require much more force to knock the ball free. Putting a grade 10.9 bolt through the ball, spacer and floor would make it very difficult to move.
4TH GEN FITMENT: I sent out 2 initial pairs. These were blind tests based on images of actual 2024 seat frames (did not have floor images). The 1st big surprise was the rear floor change. All previous Toyota vehicles had a flat floor mounting position (some pre-2005 were vertical). The new ones have a "hump" that was not planned for. The pocket is designed to be on top. Tester 1 tried both pocket up and pocket down. He was happier with the feel of pocket down. Tester 2 mounted his pocket up. He was happy and confident enough to order a 2nd set for his passenger seat. I would like to have more feedback however I only have the 2 from testing. Neither one requested to return them. It appears that there is not much contact between the actual seat and the bracket from the factory. As the "hump" was not planned for I have not made any changes. I sell this same spacer in a full front/rear kit for another vehicle brand. I will not make them to exactly fit the "hump". I had a similar experience with an SUV, with a multi-angled nightmare floor design, that I could not reproduce perfectly. I already take a beating on labor and try to keep prices reasonable. Time will tell if these are marketed to the 4th gen. Doesn't appear to be any options right now. I sell my quota every month so if they don't sell here they will sell somewhere else. Thanks for inquiring.
2024/2025 SEAT: As I don't have any 2025 images perhaps you can compare the following 2024 picture to your 2025.2024 taco seat blownup.jpg

    I bought my 2024 Tacoma August 2023.
I've driven several long trips in it and the driver seat sits too low at the back of the seat. It takes a couple of days for my back to quit hurting from the uncomfortable position.
I have searched everywhere for rear seat lifters for the front seat.
If they make them, can you point me in the right direction to buy them. If they don't make them, then I guess I'm sol.

I believe that I am the only one that has been working on these. Start a conversation with me if interested.

Yes, I am interested in the rear lifters for the Drivers side front seat. I will not be lifting the passenger seat as my husband already has a hard time getting in and he doesn't drive my Tacoma.

New batch of spacers are finish machined. For those on the "list" look for a payment email, or message, around Friday 4/4/25. Please remit payments before noon Sunday for shipping Monday 4/7/25.

Nothing has changed. The other "tester" is waiting for more and is happy with his. I believe his are pocket side up. Sending out more this weekend. I always try to get a mix of feedback before I dedicate an ad/resources for making them. I had to pull material from another job to make a few so I made some extra sets. If they don't sell for 4th gens then I have other vehicles that they already work well in. I have always given a return for refund guarantee on everything I made and sold in 8 years. If they don't work, you aren't comfortable, or just don't like them, then please return them. The only way to make these better, with a better fit on the floor mounting "hump", is to double the thickness of raw material, then double the labor, and end up with something at least $125 per pair. Not going to put that amount of work into them. At this time I don't know of any better options.

I am extremely concerned about upcoming tariffs on raw materials. I buy Canadian aluminum from a USA nationwide supplier. All suppliers get aluminum from Canada. I already had a 15% increase in 2025. Not looking good for future prices. A big tariff is going to hurt retired hobby machinists like me. I always try to beat "other" American made spacers by 25% to 35%. When the profit isn't worth the labor then I will make one of two choices. Raise prices or Sell my off my tools and equipment and get my big garage back.
