First mod I did when I bought the taco. Best decision for long trips.

Gotta say I was a little skeptical of these and worried that they might do more harm than good so I put off buying them for quite a while. But here we are a couple weeks since install and I'm really pleased with them. Results may vary but so far so good for me!

I'm 5'10 and consider myself chicken legged, and my thighs barely fit under the steering wheel. I don't know how anyone with power seats can fit under the wheel with these installed.

I suppose they tilt the steering wheel up a notch or so.

my legs go to the side of the steering wheel. still more comfortable than stock. i don't need to cross my legs while driving.

There’s very little vertical adjustment. Mine is maxed out for height and extension and with my manual seat there’s barely enough clearance.
The issue is getting in and out. Unless you’re lifting your leg over the seat and around the steering wheel to straddle it, you still have to slide through the narrow gap.

I’m not a portly fella. I don’t have body builder thighs and only have an inch or two between my leg and the bottom of the steering wheel.
At 5’11 my head is almost at the ceiling (sunroof) and these aren’t even worth trying for me

With the power seat adjusted my leg already contacts the seat and the steering simultaneously when sliding in. With seat jackers I'd need thighs the size of a small child's forearm to get in.

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
Even before the jackers, I thought the steering column was too low but I don't have problems getting in or out. Then again I'm only 5'5"+.

I cant wait to grab a pair of these. I’m 5’11 but my knees just hurt soooo bad after a long drive. I’m hoping these alleviate that because that is one of the few complaints I have about this truck.

Installed in five minutes and no issues with fat thighs rubbing the steering wheel. My issue is the instructions say to grab a 14mm socket for the factory AND new bolts. I did as instructed and went to work. Everything went well until the new bolts were stamped 10.9 (mm or bolt grade?) and they sure as shit aren’t 14mm. Wiped off the locktite and screwed them in finger tight until I get home later.

The bolts they send need a 15mm socket and the factory bots are 14mm socket. Torque all the bolts down to 27 foot pounds.

10.9 is the grade of the metric bolt similar to an SAE grade 8.
