Just bought some seat jackers for my '21 TRD off-road. After purchsing them, I noticed if i put the seat all the way up, my head just touches the headliner. Reason for purchasing was to get more comfortable steering wheel reach / position and to get closer to steering wheel.

Question is - since I already have the height I need for the seat, do I even bother installing the seat jackers?

    Thanks!

I’m 6’3” and most of my height is in my torso. I put seat jackers on the front to tilt my seat up in the front and down in the back. Made the seatings position much better for me. Before I added the jackers I only had about an inch of headroom without tilting the back of the seat too far for comfort, now it’s better. Individual results will vary. I still want the get a power seat from a 2020+ for even better comfort.

Gotcha. I have the premium package on mine, so I can adjust those settings if that matters. Still would like to be closer to the steering wheel -- even an inch or two would make a big difference, I feel

    6’3” in a 21 OR here.

The jackers tilted my seat back enough that my weight is now resting on the rear of my thighs, much more comfortable seating position. Wouldn’t go back.

Scrubbed some tires, and knocked a dent out.
Im short, but Ive been getting a bad strain/cramp from my tacoma seat. Gonna give some type of lift a try in hopes of correcting it.

I could only drive for about an hour before getting achy, it seemed like all my weight was on my heels and butt bones. My leg muscles were constantly engaged holding me in position as there was no thigh support.

After adding the seat jackers (front of seat only) I have driven 700 miles in one day without discomfort.

The seat jackers didn't help me. I've tried them two different times and ended up taking them out both times. I'm 5'9" 150lbs but my legs are long. I have to have the seat back to where my arm is fully extended at the 10-2 position which isn't comfortable for my neck/shoulders but my legs fall asleep if closer. While the seat jackers did help with the the support under my thighs the angle I was sitting at with them started hurting my hips. Just can't win. Unfortunately, the 3rd gen Tacoma is the most uncomfortable vehicle I've ever owned and I had a 1st and 2nd gen previously.

I am 5'8" and I installed jackers under the fronts only and for me it made a big difference in overall comfort. The change in the seat angle changed everything. It is now much more comfortable! All I can say is, if you are uncomfortable, try them out and see if they help!

6'1", I ordered the seat jackers before I picked up my Tacoma. I've rented tacomas before to get a feel for them and could never get the seat right, endlessly adjusting it. Took it on a 2 hour trip right after picking it up from the dealership and same thing. I ordered the seat jackers to our Airbnb and installed them as soon as they arrived the next day. The trip back was a night and day difference, finally found a sweet spot and don't have to periodically move the seat trying to get comfortable.
