I'm 5'11" I like the seat jackers for comfort but I wish the steering wheel was able to move up more. With the jackers getting in and out is more difficult because the seat is so close to the wheel even with the wheel all the way up.

Dang, I'm 6'1, and I think seat jackers are the best thing I've added to my truck. I definitely sit higher, but my head has never really had a problem hitting the roof, but is close. I don't have a sunroof, so I am sure that helps. They definitely make my 1-hour commute every day a lot more bearable.

Rear sliding window, intermittent wiper switch, center console tray, glove box organizer shelf, WeatherTech front mats and mud flaps, 3D MaxSpider behind-the-front-seats mat, bed lights, MESO climate control rings, XPEL tailgate protection, Desertdoesit.com seat jackers, RAV4 radio knobs, glove box letters.
I'm 5' 11" and installed only the rear seat jackers on the driver's seat. Did this because I felt 'sunk-down' driving and wanted to be more 'upright' if that makes sense. I did try the fronts too but didn't like the feel of them so I ended up selling them to a member here.

I have a SR and never test drove the other Tacoma models with power seats.

I wouldn't worry. Try the fronts first and see if you like them. That is what I did and I love them! (I'm 6'1)

I have a slighty used set of Desert Jackers I'd sell.
NOTE: I'm missing the longer M10 Grade 10.9 bolts (2) You do reuse the factory front bolt, rear/top bolt is what's missing. Get them at any hardware.

I had these installed on the passenger seat for a few months thinking the wife would like them.

Located in Michigan. $60.00 shipped via PayPal payment.

Ordered two sets of these on Amazon for $100 each. They arrived today. Had to have the passenger seat too cuz OCD.
Years ago I installed a 1" spacer seat riser for the rear seat bolts and that helped a bit, but only now just installed the seat jackers.

    HUGE difference.

Immediately noticed just how much more comfortable it is.
Wish I had not waited this long to do this especially with the multiple 2000+ mile trips I've made over the past 5 years.

I'm 6' tall and have no issue with these things at all. I was worried about entry and exit, but no real issues at all - even with the steering wheel in the low-tilt position, which is how I prefer it.

Do you guys have the powered seats where the height is adjustable? I'm 6'3 and thinking about getting a set before my Taco comes in as I do like leg support

I'm 6'5 with powered seats and do not feel the leg support is good even with it raised all the way and rear down all the way. That's why I'm considering some.

If the seat height and position is that maneuverable with the electronic control, personally I’d wait until I knew I would need them.
Not like you’ll have to wait long. Amazon prime. Got them two days later.

Let me know if you do end getting them, also does the height adjustable on the seat have good range or it just a little bit?
That's a good call, I'm just a little too eager to buy stuff for my new truck

Doesn't sound worse to me... sounds great actually ;)

I saw a video of these and thought, "why?"
but it was a 4'11 short asian woman who installed them, so I guess... Probably better than sitting on phone books or pillows.

Height adjust on the electronic seats will put you through the roof, lol. It has the most play out of a seat in a truck I've ever seen!

It's not terrible. Maybe 3" movement.(up/down) Can't recall, don't move it after the initial setup.

I am same height and had the exact same problem. I feel like if I could raise the front of the seat about half what the Seat Jackers do it would be great.

You'll likely want/like them. I just measured the powered front only moves 1.5 inches. I just installed the seat Jackers and it feels much more comfortable with my 6'5" frame. And still lowers enough with the power seat, I think, for my wife to drive it. She isn't home for a few days so I can't have her test yet. 20211223_105604.jpg 20211223_105628.jpg

I’m also 5’8” and just did a 1000 road trip with them and I’m not sure if they helped much. My back just hurts in a different place now lol. Going to install the rear and see if it’s any better.
