Decent for tall people say 6'2?

I am a little paranoid about the quality of the metal.

    Thoughts?

I don't have the seat jackers but I have a quality style that has held up for a few years. I did only the driver's seat by only raising the back a little. The blck cover went back on and can not even see the spacer. I'm 6 feet and weigh @260 and its more comfortable than before. I raised the passenger side but the Wife didn't care for it too much.

The Desert Does It seat jackers work well for me (6’, 200#). I have the front mounting points on my front seats raised.

I do find it kind of funny that on my old 2010 Tacoma, I used seat jackers to raise the rear of my seat because the stock position felt like I was sitting in a clam shell.

In my new Tacoma, it is the opposite with the front of the seat needing extra height.

I feel confident that by 2030, Toyota will have created a perfect Tacoma seat.

6'3" and 215 lbs. Desert Does It jackers for my front two seats. Made an incredible difference for me. No height issues with head and top of cab either.

Just do it! You'll be glad you did.

I have the Desert Does It on the fronts of both seats. The only time I have an issue with headroom is leaning forward to look around a blind corner at an intersection and having sunglasses on top of my head. They hit the headliner every time. Otherwise no issues. 6ft tall.

Small business and high grade materials. Your seats bolt into these. Not something that I want to skimp on if I end up getting into an accident.

I installed the Desert Does It ones but then removed them and will be returning. I don’t think they are made for the issue I’m having, where it seems like the seat bolsters are too narrow for my old ass. They are high quality though for sure, but raising up the front didn’t help so much with the discomfort I’m experiencing and it made getting in a bit more awkward.

It appears you need one for the back instead. You can get them from @Dennis here.

I tried mine out for a day, I don't like it personally. I probably end up selling it once removed. lol

It felt like I was sitting in a booster seat once I installed mine...but I love it lol. Once you get used to it, you won't even remember you have them installed...until you go sit in your buddies Tacoma that doesn't have them...

I don't know how you big boys fit comfortably in the Tacoma. I've been in 1/2 tons for quite some time and even I feel cozy in the truck and I'm a little dude.

Before buying my truck, I was worried about it, based on what I read here on TW. It hasn’t been an issue (6’3”, 195) other than having to ‘lead’ with my right knee when getting in. And, I have a Tekonsha brake controller in front of my left knee that I’ve never hit.

I installed AliExpress seat jackets. A fraction of the price. I’m 6’2… no more sore back and sleepy ass after an out on the saddle.

I had low expectations; but… was happily surprised.

Funny thing is with those Aliexpress ones, they claim 7075 aluminum compared to 6061 for the Seat jackers - so in theory they are a more durable aluminum. I'd still replace the bolts with something better, just to be safe if one goes with that version.
