Just wanted to share that I've been driving a lot more for work (like 3+ hours) and the seat was killing my back.

After much research here, I found the seat jackers from Desert Does It. Ordered, installed, and it feels a) much more comfortable and b) like a whole new truck.

If anyone else is in the same boat, don't question, just order them and slap them in there. I wish I had done this years ago...

I’m 6’4” and thighs get fatigued quickly with shorter seats. Raising the front up with the seat jackets helped tremendously.

    I added a bolt once...
They work well for 5'9" folks also... have them installed for about 2 years.

6’2” and numb bum and sore back after 45 mins. Seat jackers and now I can drive for hours and hours with a normal amount of time.

I also just installed some on my new to me truck. Seems to be much better, but I need to take it out on a longer drive. Tempted to add spacers to the rear mounts too, but I think I should try it like it is first.

They’re great in my 3rd gen as well. I do a lot of very long drives, like 8-10 hours per day, and I never have any issues with stiffness or soreness anymore.

With seat jackers in… I’m pretty up right; but I lower the seat the whole way, then bring the front of the seat all the way up (power seats in ‘21).

Do you have the Automatic / Motorized seats or the manually adjustable seats?

Put seatjackers on my passenger seat for my gf (I usually drive when in my truck) and she loved them. I used to think she hated the tacoma (she's a jeep girl) but it turns out she was just uncomfortable. She said they made all the difference, so I ordered another set for the drivers side, with the molle attachment. I'm satisfied, that's for sure!

The 2nd gens, the bottom of the seat is fixed. So, that can't be moved as far as I know since even in the limited trims, the seats are manual. So, I was curious to hear from any of you that are around 6 2 if they could keep their sear upright or not

I wish they would make a 2.5” for the front of the sear and 1” for the back. But, I like the set I put on my 2010 made a ton of difference

Edit: welp I’m misinformed. I was just looking in the classifieds and see they now offer rears. I’ll be ordering a set soon

My truck is all manual adjustment (despite being a TRD Off Road)

I find the Manual Crowd seems to get more out of the jackers.
