    Good Lawyer? There’s an oxymoron
Edit: didn’t realize this was 2nd gen forum but a seat is a seat..
I put in 1” spacers at the back of the seat about 6 months ago.
The other day I noticed the seat seam closest to the door (seat bottom) had excessive wear. (Pleather seat) Coincidence? Maybe, but I don’t carry anything in my back pocket other than a wallet.. 91249D11-B528-4658-A3A5-8C23C1858B40.jpg

Since the seat is higher your probably dragging your but more on the seat when you get in.

Guys if you get in a crash bad enough to shear the seat mount, you won’t be worrying about the spacer. You’ll be a fuggin corpse.

in my career I worked over 2500 crashes, many fatal. Several were morons in cars going way above speed and the cars were cut in half. Many Tacomas with roll overs, engines flying out etc. not once in all those crashes did I encounter a seat sheared off its mounts. It’s a non issue. Buy your overpriced spacers and enjoy.

I picked up a set of rear spacers several months ago from somewhere. I have COPD and sometimes it was very uncomfortable driving.
Those spacers were a miracle. Waaay more comfy to drive now. At the time, I thought the price was robbery, but they turned out to be cheap for what they did.

I’ve done 4 trucks with those over priced spacers. I got to thinking about the labor and materials and came to the conclusion I couldn’t do it any cheaper. They fit, look nice and my only concern was the alloy used. Mine got wet because of a windshield leak and the corrosion happened fast. Everyone bitches about seating position in a Tacoma, all the reviews even consumer reports finds this to be noticeable. That and hitting your head getting in. If you like the rest of the truck besides frame rust it will be ok
