So ive seen a few threads where people have added spacers(washers or abs plastic, etc) to raise the rear end of the front seats. Ive read about the pros and cons such as safety issues, warranty issues, etc. My question is, Is there anyone out there that has done this mod ages ago and can give me an update on how its worked out over time? Has anyone been involved in an accident with the spacers? How did the seats hold up in the accident? Etc??? I am considering this mod but I am hesitant, any info would be greatly appreciated, thx:)

anytime you change an area where there are specific safety points, (bolts thru the seat frame to floor) you add a level of risk since you are now changing that area. The seats were meant to bolt to the floor for safety reasons and if you were in an accident and your seats comes loose there is a good chance insurance may not cover it let alone warranty issues. Not saying that good heavy duty thick washers wouldn't do the trick, but IMHO, leave it alone..put more cushion in the seats if needed or sit on padding....just saying..
