Thank you for the pics. That doesn't look bad at all. Looks like it came that way. Do your knees hit the steering wheel now? It looks close on the bottom. In your opinion does it make a big difference as far as how you look over the hood?

I put 1" spacers on the rear of the two front seats. As for comfort gain, in the driver's seat I did not notice one single bit of comfort when I installed and sat down. Nothing....

Getting on up the road a day or so later, it dawned on me that I was a bit more comfortable on my trip. It was like having a one-time single motion power seat adjustment. I like it. So overall I am pleased with this small improvement. Anything had to be better than the seating comfort (or lack of) in the OEM position of the tiny truck design.

    I'll give this a ==> :thumbsup:

I ordered from Desert Does It on Friday, fronts for both seats and one set of rears. I’m 6’4” with a 32” inseam. My typical seating position is all the way back, front all the way up and rear all the way down. With the fronts I figure I’ll lower the adjustment on the front some to support the back of my legs better. I want to experiment with the rear spacers but I suspect I’ll want 1/2” or 3/4” in the rear. My wife is 5’2” so I need to make sure everything still works for her tiny legs. I think she’ll appreciate the brighter position and better visibility.

@shelbell1086, my knees don’t touch the steering wheel. It doesn’t feel like I’m sitting in a hole anymore. And it does help me to see over the hood better. So far I like it and I’ve just ordered a set for the passenger seat as well.

Put in a set of the front spacers today and was very surprised how that little bit of extra lift has made the seats more comfortable. I've also moved the seat one notch forward and my arms are more comfortable on the wheel. That extra little bit of height also gives me a little better visibility over the front of the truck.

At first I balked at spending almost $200 for a couple of spacers but after seeing the quality of the product and how comfortable they have made the seating position it was certainly money well spent.

    Very happy with it.

Hard top camper...many more to add+
For rear of seat ..go to any hardware store for longer bolt and spacer tubes or large washers to lift the rear..
Front part of the seat..I found I like SEATJACKERS..
    Best mod ever...!
Best part you will see more over the hood ...my daughter did this to her truck..(she is only 5 feet in height)
Raising the seat besides made it easer to see over the hood...plus over the outside mirror..it blocks her view before..
    Aloha

If you don't mind sharing your results. I ordered the complete set and I am about your size. What did you find is the best solution for you?

Right now with Jackers on the front of both seats I’m at 1/2” rear spacers on the drivers side and 1/4” rear spacers on the passenger side and it’s comfortable. 3/4” rear was too much on the drivers side for me, as was 1/2” on the passengers side.

Honestly I could skip the rear spacers on both seats, I installed them to lift my elbows up off the center console and armrest. My arms are long enough that I found myself propping myself up on my elbows on the cross country trip, adding stress to my shoulders. For that purpose the higher the better in the rear, but it defeats the purpose of the front Jackers for leg comfort.

I’ve got a 36” inseam, and found no spacer on the rear, with the Seat Jackers in front is perfect for me. It’s now more comfortable for me than my wife’s Audi, which has more adjustment. If I could only move the steering wheel a couple inches further back, it would be perfect for me.

I too have seatjackers installed on the front. Really help with thigh support. Thighs do rub on steering wheel sometimes especially with snow pants etc which sucks. Wish Toyota added an inch or two to the ridiculous amount of steering wheel adjustment. Either way, solid vote for seatjackers from me

I wondered about the rear spacers. I only ordered one set. I will put on the passenger side to give a little higher ride for my wife. She probably won't even notice though.

    Thank you.

Does anybody here have rubber floor mats that sit on top of the covers on the rear of the seat? I have aftermarket floor mats that sit on top of that area. Ok to trim around it so it sits flush to the floor versus higher, causing a slope when installing the seat spacers?

Dumb question but, the Desert Does It spacers look great and clearly everyone loves them. Is there a reason why you couldn’t just use a stack of washers and new bolts? I’m sure I am missing something. I will probably order some soon though as I don’t love the seat position and I drive A LOT!

I'm 6'4" with a 34" inseam. DDI Seat Jacker in the front, nothing on the back. Wish I would have done this mod 100K miles ago.

on the rear of the seats you could do that. the mating surface to the floor is flat. between the funky seat track shape, and the floor topography, you cant do that very easily with flat washers. these are pre-made, powdercoated, longer bolts provided, ready to go. Ski

My 2020 has the power seat, and without the jackers the front of the seat wouldn’t adjust up enough to provide any support to my thighs.

I did the 1 inch rear spacer about 4 months, local member makes them, made my seat so much more comfortable than it was, which wasn't too bad. I tried them out and love them. Now I want to do the pass. side seat. For $35 a set isn't too bad.
