I just picked up some front seats from a 1992 4Runner and I want to put them into my 1999 Tacoma has anyone done this swap before? If so what was needed?

    Will not work
Unless you swap the tracks over.
    Different bolt pattern
95.5-2004 tacos have a unique seat pattern for some odd reason.
There's a bunch of other threads about the swap, just search for em.

Those 4runner seats look nice and I think they are pretty comfy iirc.

I figured it wouldn’t be an exact fit I don’t mind modifying just seeing if anyone else has done it and what it took

It's too bad your not 2nd or third gen, literally all the same except for a few caveats with regular cab seat sensors.and 4runner is compatible with more adjustment.
