LOL...U don't want to ask THAT question (like I did)...the morality police will bitch and moan on how stupid u are for not wearing ur seatbelt and how its going to raise their insurance to pay for ur brain injury...All while THEY drive their trucks up the sides of a mountain because they don't have anything better to do with themselves...and when they "accidentally" wreck their trucks they will have NO PROBLEM turning in the damage THEY did to their trucks and thus raising UR insurance premiums!

But since u asked...they only thing I was able to find was these seatbelt "plugs" that fit into the belt holders....got mine off of Ebay for like $10...just do a ebay search for "seatbelt alarm stopper"....there are several versions

I took mine to the dealer. They will turn it off for you. They plug it into the computer and change the settings from there. Had it done to my '12 and just had it done to my new '16 two days ago. Also, it was done at no cost.

You can also buy the mini-VCI cable for less than $40. It comes with a bootleg copy of Toyota Techstream so you can make the changes yourself. It's a good investment since it lets you toggle other settings and diagnose problems later on.

Do you have a link where someone can purchase this? I saw some on Amazon just unsure which is the correct one for a 2016.

Is it 16 pin or 22 pin?

I took mine to 2 different dealerships...both said they couldn't because they are afraid to get sued if I got hurt while not wearing my seatbelt! So I just bought the inserts

Had my 5k service done today and asked them to turn off the chime. Service manager came and told me he would not do it. I talked to the owner of the dealership and it was done in about 2 min. The owner was very apologetic about the issue and said if I had any more problems to come directly to him.

When I took delivery they 'said' they couldn't disable it for liability reasons.

    Yet it was indeed disabled....

Mine now blinks the whole time after the dealership shut the chime off. More annoying than dealing with the chimes. Just a FYI
