I won't think about that. I'm not opposed to wearing the seat belt on 'real-trips' but for a cruise around the 'hood to pick up mail at 10 mph, or
easing down a dirt road going low and slow and jumping in/out of the truck I'd rather not have to deal with buckling up time and time again.

My 6 year old is over 50 lbs and he throws a fit about wearing his seatbelt in the front seat so I use these clips so I'm not annoyed by the beeping a screaming. Works perfect.

Buy a cheap OBD device off Amazon $15. Link it to your cell phone and download the Carista App from the Apple App or Google Play Store. Costs $19 for the year but you can cancel it in 7 days. Can make all kinds of changes. Can turn off seatbelt warning chimes for individual seats. I also changed the directionals to blink 6 times with a quick tap. Many more options but the test I left alone.

My seven year old hates the seatbelt too, but fortunately the only times she screams is whenever a delivery driver drops a package at the front door, or if another dog walks in front of the house.

I’m often in slow speed situations where the seat belt isn’t practical as well. I once asked the dealer to disable it, but they declined claiming it was a safety concern. One of these days I will try again or find a different solution.

Another annoyance is the dinger that plays when the key is in the ignition and the door is open. What’s the worst thing that could happen?

I'm curious on keyed models. On the keyless whenever the dinger is sounding off I just reach back and quick press the door sensor. Shuts it right up.

I have never tried that. I assumed I would need to hold the sensor indefinitely.

I noticed it after leaving the fob in the truck, closing the door, then going back to retrieve something.

With a key in ignition, it might work, it might not. I'm not sure on that one.

That didn't work on my ACLB. I just tore out the speaker to make my life completely happy. FFS, my motorcycle doesn't have chimes. :D
