    ….And it’s not even leather, just a fancy named vinyl

    you can get an interior color/scheme of your choice with top quality leather from Katskin for less than 1/2 that package cost.

    Just be aware that Toyota's SofTex upgraded seats are NOT leather (from an animal): the material is polyurethane. It may be superior in many ways to actual leather.

    From prolonged testing of different models, and now about 10,000 miles of ownership.

    All models have a much better seating position if compared to 1990s through new generation pickups and earlier 4Runners. Keep this in mind. My wife really felt the TRD and above trim seats made a difference including the electric adjustable in upgrade and premium packages if not a halo model.

    One measure that stands out to me is a 186 my trip leg I've done since the 1970s and many vehicles. My TRD OR seats stand out as among the ones that are not fatiguing, and in February I had a 400+ to 700 mile days where the comfort stood out.
