Will 2011 double cab bucket seats work and plug and play with a 2006 tacoma single cab with no lights coming on?

I'm assuming you have a bench seat now, which means you need the bucket seat occupant detection system. You will also need to swap both floor wire harnesses and possibly the airbag module. So is it plug and play, No. Will the seats bolt up, Yes
my sig below has a lot of information about bench>bucket swap.

What if i just want the airbags to work and not the seat airbag? I was thinking of how kelson did and take the sensor and everything from the bench seat and put them in the bucket seat? will that work also?

Yeah, you can go the "bypass" route too. my method is more expensive/ technical however, keep in mind if you bypass, you may never be able to sell or trade in your truck due to the liability of it. The rail sensors from the bench cannot mount on the bucket seats. This is a safety feature that shuts the airbags off when the seat is fully forward to prevent injury/death. Bypassing the rail sensors with a piece of metal allows the airbags to be "on" regardless of the seat position. just something to keep in mind.
