Nothing too exciting... maybe a little rust
I went over there once a few years ago when a buddy was working there. It's definitely some amazing snow when it's good and on a clear day the view of the hill with the lake down below is killer.

Yeah I love that place. go up at least 15 times a year usually. The view of the lake is spectacular when its not actually foggy or cloudy

Crystal! Unless you ski A LOT, not worth the pass. I ski Crystal mostly, as it's a good mountain and only about 1.5 hrs away, but Baker is awesome, especially if you like to hike! Going to try to do mission, 48 north, Schweitzer and big red area this year. Then I will have hit all the areas in the northwest!
Also, little gem is Alpental if you get there early after a big drop. (6 years ago, I took winter off and did 110 days there)
This season will be my 46th consectutive season having skied every year. Have skied 47, but missed when I was 7 due to broken arm.

Hoping to do this one this year, it's been few since I did it last. Friday night, hit Stevens for night skiing, then drop down into Wenatchee. Reserve a room at M6. On Saturday, get up early and be first in line at Mission Ridge. M6 again, then up early to hit Stevens for the day. Head out early to beat the traffic or late to miss it.

Although now that I'm older I may upgrade to a nicer hotel.

If my legs can take it. :)

ON! Let's plan it once there is a reasonable amount of snow!
Reasonable means enough so you don't core a ski
Except , 1st day at Stevens, day ski.
Bring your daughter, I'll bring Kris.

If you ride park, don't go to Crystal. If you ride big mountain, go to Crystal.

probably have to be sometime in Feb, think there's a good holiday weekend in there somewhere. Both kids snowboard, Rika and I ski. I know the kids are excited at the prospect.

Wait, I thought you didn't like to hike! We can go past king to the silver side and end up at the bottom of quicksilver! Almost no one does it, so pow for 3-4 days after a fall! Bout a 15 min walk.

I'll hike, been all over northway before they installed that damn chair. I love crystal south back also. I've been down through the woods to the top of quicksilver twice, nice big tree skiing with just enough angle to make it fun and speedy.

This was a nasty day years ago, but almost no one there so we had the place damn near to ourselves. 3 way peak in the background.

Nick being me or is their another Nick? ;)

I definitely need to go more this year as last year I only made it a handful of times.

Wish you guys had touring sets ups. Go to hurricane ridge and have fun there in the back country.

I used to get out quite a bit on my split board. Had a voile split for a handful of years and put it to good use. I sold it a while back as I never seemed to have anymore time to get out like I used to.

I don't get out as much as I'd like anymore. But that is resort and back country. I still do more back country than resort though as I hate lines and crowds. And I don't feel like I waste money if I only ski till noon and head home like I do at resorts.
