...just think about that proposal for a minute.

Does the person flipping your burgers and asking if you want fries with that really deserve $15/hr? That's over 30k a year, some teachers are close to that!

Keep in mind that if the minimum goes to 15 and hour in Seattle That the stores involved under the new law , that they have to cover there cost of overhead and they will raise there prices up to 200% , meaning they will loose business , stores will close and cost of living will go up and unemployment will go up . So the moral of the story is , who pays for this ALWAYS , the middle class is ALWAYS paying for poverty . AND I AGREE , STOP HAVING BABYS . SEW THAT DAMN VAGINA UP AND SHUT YOUR LEGS .

The argument to the topic makes perfect sense? Guess not everyone can make an A in economics and financial classes...

There's college degree jobs around here that start at $15. It would be embarrassing to know the dude at walmart is making the same as someone that put in at least a couple years at a college.

Seattle is a very progressive area. Lot's of companies introduce new products to the Seattle area, before releasing them nationwide. Pot is legal there now, and other states are watching to see how that goes. The minimum wage hike conversation will actually now have a working model to view. I think it's kind of cool to see what happens there.
I think the people at fast food places, who initially protested for higher wages, will soon see their jobs at risk. People with undergrad and graduate degrees who have been unemployed, may go and apply at McDees and Taco Bell.

No , that's different and not just a BC thing , that's a national issue with abuse of the temporary foreign worker program which I'm not sure there is a US equivilent to

Or strategically plan out the course of their city.

Unless you have the metrics behind unemployment, economic assistance, age/gender/ethnic demographics and much more than I don't think you have enough information to base your statements on.
