I bought an Alpine KTP-445U second hand and the person I bought it from said it was in a 2018. I have a 2022 so will need to change the connectors. I am brand new to wiring so forgive me for any dumb questions.

When looking at the current loom, the speakers are on different connectors. Did the 2018 have separate connections for front and rear? There also seems to be a kind of jumper for the turn on wire
I would be guessing but could it have been setup this way to keep the fade? But then again I am unsure if it truly was on a 2018. I bought a PAC LPHTY02 from Crutchfield to make it work with my 2022. I am just not sure if I should repeat the connections from the original loom.

I just read more thread and now realize that I did not need the expensive loom from Crutchfield. The Alpine states that it will recognize speaker wire and turn on so do I still need to use the blue turn on wire? I only ask if someone has had issues with the amp turning on. Also, is there a way to power it without having to run a wire directly to the battery?

Double check the conections previous owner did on amp using amp manual. I believe the plugs on the amp are the same for your truck but double check. Metra year range 2017-2023
    For keeping your factory deck
The deck speaker outputs become the amps inputs. To keep your truck factory plugs (not cutting wires on your truck) plugs are needed for into the deck and truck speaker wiring harness. You're going to unplug speakers from deck, plug in to amp and plug amp into truck speaker wiring harness using the after market plugs.
Providing power for amp can be by fuse panel or running to battery. ALWAYS have a inline fuse closest to the power source for your amp. This protects from possible shorts between power source and amp.
I do believe the amp will turn on when it's reads speaker output. Blue wire is for after market decks that have a trigger wire for amp.
Follow the manual instruction for amp setup (search google for videos to help).
If you have stock speakers be very careful they will not handle the amp output power well. You may want to look into replacing stock speakers with better quality aftermarket (that's opens a whole new rabbit hole).

    I hopes this helps

The 2020 forward needs a different set of plugs. I read that 2020 on needs either the Red Fox plugs for the Camry or the PAC LPHTY02. I bought the LPHTY02 because of the ability to run the power through the loom instead of running a wire to the battery. I am going to ground directly to the body because I read somewhere that using the loom will cause the whine through the speakers.
