    Thanks
These are the parts i was looking at just pulling the screws on the bank that is stuck and add the new valve.
    This will make it faster.
Should be able to just pull the one valve and wire and be done in 10 min Screwing the new one in.

    Thanks sir.

You were talking about breaking bolts abd needing to JB weld them back.
What bolts and what they hold?
For the brackets or in or attached to the valve.

Waiting on the dealer now to call.
If they do not help then I may be forced to see if they will price match the part or order and replace it my self.

Having a hard time finding the truck I want now .
If they cover it under warranty I will keep it longer, if not I will trade this week as is if they find me a truck.
If not it will be ordered and take 6 weeks or so to get in and I need to do something....

one bolt's head broke off - it held the air tubing to the valves themselves. The others came out fine, I just used some petroleum based grease so it wouldn't seize in there

    Cool thanks for the info.
Dont really care for how it works or any other part as long as I can replace the pump and no code so I can sell or trade asap.

They just called me back and lied to me telling me that it needs the pump and valves.
After a bunch of questions one proving the other was a lie he ask the guy working on it and said pump is fine but he likes to change it when he does the valves. ....
Wanted 1900 parts alone and said the labor is real high but working it.
Told him it takes about 1 hr ask why so high... Just what they charge I guess....
going to have someone from Toyota checking it tuesday.
Also added that they see a lot. He could not give me the codes so it is a normal find and repair.
Also there should be a recall or warranty thing come up soon for it...

It's $1000 in parts for the pump and switching valves, I don't see where they get $1900 for parts. Also what about the people whom paid money already to have it fixed, are they SOL when the TSB / recall comes out? This pump is straight up garbage altogether.

I tried dealing with toyota and it just wasted more time and effort than worth. Open a case and complain to Toyota just to get this problem into the system so we all have a better chance in the future, get this bypass install it and be done. I was without my truck for almost a month waiting on Toyota and they still want you to pay the diagnostic fee which are $150 at my dealership so just do the bypass for $350.

and if you want to spend all the money replacing the parts...go ahead and start saving for the next 50,000 miles when you have to do it again. Just throwing money into a money pit at that point imo, bypass the whole system and move on. This has been a very frustrating experience for me and others.

I dont think I was clear on it maybe.
If this latest failed parts cost me anything, I'm not worried about anything down the road.
I already have a trade worked and it wil be picked up at the dealership if they pick to do nothing.

I'm not going to dump time or money Into a taco that is a POS.
Not sure based on the problems with the work a round let alone fixin it. Just going to cut free as is...
Someone else can deal with this truck.

Now after the lie and BS they said today I have lost trust in the truck and toyota as is and only if they cover it 100 % will I think about keeping it a few more months or a year.

They are clear they know it is bad parts and will happen again.
They are in it only for the money and planned obsolescence is clear in this.

Seems as if someone at Toyota has to be aware of this issue and should already have a new Pump and Valve design that does not have this kind of failure rate.

Yep just got off the phone with Toyota. ..

People call if you are having or have had problems.
They know there is a problem.
The said no recall or warranty as of now.

They will look into helping with the problems.
They are also looking into the dealer and how they come to find pump was bad when it was not.

They are aware of it Toyota changed the programming on the 2013-up trucks to cycle the pump after engine shutdown to evacuate moisture. 13-up trucks also have an insulated cover over the pump as well, don't know if its there to quiet things down or insulate it from engine heat maybe.

Still shocks me Toyota stepped up for the tundra AIR problems but wont do squat for our lower mileage trucks with these failures. Lets mail all our failed valves to Mike Swears and maybe we will get some attention.

    Today is they day....
There actions dictate what happens to the truck, if I dump it off, keep it, or ever look at another Toyota ever again.
