Hey y’all. I have a 2006 2.7 4WD and I’m having the check engine light on for CEL Code P2445 for Secondary Air Injection System Pump Stuck Off Bank 1., and P2441 for Secondary Air Injection System Switching Valve Stuck Closed. The check engine light has been on for about 5000 miles now and haven’t felt in drop in performance at all. Occasionally I still hear that pump kick on but not all the time when I start up. I’m aware that this secondary air injection can cause some tacomas to go into limp mode from some of the other forms on here but that issue seems to be on the 2010-2015 trucks. I picked up a new pump at the junkyard today for $30 off a 2013 Tacoma so I’m not sure if they react the same and I was gonna try and swapping them out and see if it fixes it but do I really need to care at all if it doesn’t? Honestly can I just delete the whole thing?

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
Start by replacing dry rotted vacuum lines then take it from there
