I am wanting to install my TRD intake, but that pesky secondary air pump is in the way. Anyone know of relocation kits available if any? Or any write ups? I have search with no solution.:notsure:

There are various ways you can do it. All inconvenient, but some less than others. Snap a picture of your engine bay so I can see it. Focus more on the intake area by the passenger side.

But it did, it provided another thread that even has a picture of where another member relocated the pump.

That relocate is a half baked way of doing it, not due to the actual relocate itself but because of the design of the brackets made to hold the pump in place. There is a way better made bracket out there designed to hold the pump in place without being so flimsy and have the harsh NVH those inherently have.

I saw the pic of where he relocated it, I have plenty of pics of where people have put it, But no solid answers of how they did it, what brackets they used....I just basically got to the end if the movie without watching what happened

I need to see your engine bay first because there may be a way of installing it as is and just bending the OE bracket a little bit, but I won't know until I see it.

Gen 2 TRD intake right? This one?

Shoot. Your ABS is in the way.

Okay. Bracket is built by Holley/ Flowmaster, call them, part number AF5025. It should cost you about $41 for the bracket. You will need two M8x1.25 bolts one can be 20mm, the other 40mm two washers to mate with them and two nuts to match. You will have to drill a hole into the core support 5/8 I believe it was and you will have to extend your air pump harness either at the engine bay or the pump itself. You can pull a grommet from your old OE intake tube to use on your relocate for the bottom bolt hole. Oh yeah, you will also have to cut about a half inch of the air pump inlet hose in order for it to run right and not be kinked. Those measurements may vary for you though as you can see, I am running a coilovers tower bar across the engine bay. Pictures incoming.

Here is where my extension of the air pump wiring lands. Right beneath the intake air cleaner lower lid.

Can you explain how you extended the air pump wiring harness? Did you buy a kit somewhere or just cut and splice?

Soldered or just use butt connectors? Looks like it goes from 3-4 cables to 2 large cables?
