Has anyone seen this screen before? If you put your shifter between park and reverse where neither the P or R light is on this park assist screen comes up. It also shows a car where the center screen between the gauges shows a Tacoma.

The big one is probably a remnant from the pre-backup camera days. The tacoma isn't the only vehicle that that safety system is installed into.

On the little screen on the dash is part of the premium/tech package. Lots of our trucks have those sensors.

Had an issue with my backup camera anytime install where the backup camera was no longer coming on when I shifted to reverse. Instead this would. Turned out to be a bad diode, but this must be backup (pun intended?) in case the camera doesn't function.

I have that screen on my Sienna. Sienna has sensors in the front of car, so that screen comes on when I get close to an object that the front sensors pick up.

Nothing happened with mine. Just the gear indicator disappeared on the gauge cluster screen.

It's the hidden prius mode. That explains the 3.5L performance!!!

But wait, prius mode comes standard.
The trick is to find the hidden performance mode.

Do you have backup sensors? Maybe the Canucks don't get the super secret screen like Americans.

Haven't even tried it on mine but doubtful I'll have it. Maybe a sport with Tech would but my off road doesn't even have BSM lol

Funny that you should post this because this showed up on my screen two days ago. I didn't know what I did to make it show up, just put the car in reverse and no backup camera, just this image. I'll try putting the shifter between P and R and see what happens.

Too bad they couldn't make it so 1/2 the screen show this and the other 1/2 half show the backup cam (like on a BMW). Sometimes the steering wheel is blocking the multi-function screen on the cluster and I can't see the sensor indicators. I would have to straight out the steering wheel just to see it.

Probably have this so if you take your tailgate off (and disconnect the camera) you have some sort of backup visual.

Like I mentioned above it came on when my camera wasn't working.

Of course this will only work if you have the tech package with the sensors

Lol yea guess I should have thought of that. No back up sensors available on the OR here haha. Need to get a limited/pro for that feature

I assume you have all seen the V6 engine stat screen I posted before.

Just honk your horn with 5 short beeps, start engine, then 2 more beeps.

Fuel 12 GPH? 12 gallons per hour's not that bad.
Is this a screenshot from an 80's (maybe circa 90's) PC airplane sim game?
Makes me miss the Jane's sims.
that's cool to get that to come up as your custom start up screen.
you have given away your secret inner nerdiness.

Unplug your camera on the tailgate (you can see the connection when the tailgate is open)
I haven't tried this myself, but my guess is it will work
