Obama's 'Beast' BREAKS DOWN in Israel: President's $1.5m limo is towed away as he arrives in Tel Aviv for historic first visit - after his driver puts GAS in the engine instead of diesel

President Barack Obama's historic visit to Israel this morning had an embarrassing setback when his armored limo broke down on the way to the airport. The custom limo was relegated to a pick-up truck after the driver accidentally put gas in the engine instead of diesel. Mr Obama arrived in Tel Aviv Wednesday afternoon local time to meet Prime Minister Netanyahu (pictured right), but earlier that morning, the limo that was designated to his hotel was unable to move after the driver made the silly mistake. Local news reports claim that it was the President's limo that was shipped over specially from Washington that broke down and a new limo is being flown over from Jordan in order to replaced the downed 'Beast'.

Meh, pretty common mistake. I doubt in Israel the diesel handles are green. Don't think I'd call him an "idioti"

Weird... I can't imagine they just pull that thing up to a random fuel station in Tel Aviv...

Where do they normally fuel the vehicle when it goes to another country? US bases? Do the carry extra fuel on it's cargo flight?

    This.

I could swear I read somewhere that they flew the limo and it's fuel in on Airforce cargo jets and were completely self contained. I thought they even flew the President's food in.

The idiot in this event certainly wasn't the driver. If he's been the SS driver since I was born, he's escorted three of the sorts around in his career.

I'd continue, but politics aren't aloud on the forum. :)

Full rebuild short of machine work, mean green motherfucker! Lime green block, hand-polished valve cover, and stickers! Too broke for real mods right now. Stonewall is my baby, but he's also a work truck.
Everyone makes mistakes- I laughed my ass off when I heard about this anyways.
