Section of black rubber roof piece came off - Need to glue

Hello,

I need help finding good type of glue/adhesive that will hold it and not come off after I apply it. Only section that is in the picture came off the rest is still in tact. Any suggestions?

3M two sided tape will do it. That’s what is on the OEM roof rack.

 

I used silicone on mine few years ago.

That’ll work. Just make sure it isn’t too thick. The key is surface prep remove all old adhesive and clean well with rubbing alcohol.

I used ShooGoo on mine when it came completely off. Worked great.
Figured if it can glue a new sole on my boots, should hold that trim on.
