Lol that's not a guy you are chastising haha. Everyone has their own opinion right? I don't judge, especially when you or I have no clue who is actually writing posts. Maybe it's just me, but I sure can't tell color, sex or status from a written word.

Like others mentioned there's a good mix of races and people in different socio-economic conditions on this site. No need to finger point or put a negative spotlight on specific communities.

I have family that live in Compton and I can tell you from visiting that it isn’t just black/Hispanics living there.

a simple question about cargo security on a truck forum, and you had to just throw in a cheap shot, below the belt racist fkn comment.

    lame.

I really like my shell. Part of the reason I bought it is so that when I go mountain biking, I can go other places and have the bikes locked up and out of sight. I'm not fooling myself, if someone really wanted to get in, they absolutely could. The back glass, as far as security is concerned, is almost a joke. It is tinted enough that it's not easy to see what is inside, but I bet if I gave it a couple good yanks it would break.

I think it's better than having my bikes displayed on the back of my truck and secured by the flimsy cable locks on the bike rack.

I was about to say the same thing. You can get an aluminum contractor's shell with no side doors, no front window and aluminum rear door for a pretty reasonable price.
    To me, that trumps SUV's.

My brother has a job where he's always carrying very expensive camera equipment. He had a shell on his last truck and had it broken into quite a few times. Switched to a tonneau and hasn't had any problems. Out of site is the key.

I recently bought a truck with a shell that, like the OP, I'd like to be able to put my MTB in. I'm planning on having a local tint shop tint the windows on it ~5% to minimize what can be seen inside. Not full proof I'm sure, but just an idea for anyone trying to keep things out of site.
