You should just return the truck, and continue making the payments. Why drive a truck that shakes? Just walk.

I understand your frustration. But your going about it wrong. Once again, the biggest hit you can make on any company is internet review and social media. letting them repo it does nothing but hurt you.

Whoa, I didn't notice that! That's cool a hell! I could see using an Estwing straight claw hammer and building a box for it. Would make for a fun project.

True that. Keep in mind though the dealership and Toyota may lose out as well. Will they sell the truck of course they will. It will have to be fixed...money It will need to be insured...money Repo man will need to be paid...money. Now the real question is can they recoup all of their money back. Maybe...Maybe not. For example, if I brought the truck for 41,000 put a minumum down payment, financed it for four years, and let's say I kept it for three months and put 7000 miles. For this example, I returned the truck back because the dealership and toyota failed in repairing a defective transmission even after the state Lemon laws were followed. I take a credit hit, lose my down payment money, but I have no more insurance payments, car note payments which includes principal and interest to toyota. Now the dealership has a truck that needs a new transmission (money) and they will not get 41,000.00 for a USED truck. Then again there are suckers born everyday.

To me, I would think in the best interest of the dealership and Toyota they would be better served to go ahead and do the right thing, because if they dont we all lose in a situation like this. I can take a credit hit and keep on ticking. I am sure the dealership and Toyota will also keep on ticking as well.

Used Toyotas that cost more than a new Toyota. Where do you live? You see that is the problem with American businesses. They treat customers like SH** once they figured they have their money. This is just not the car industry but just about every industry in america. Why are they doing this? Because they know through percentages they can get away with it. You see more and more people need to start standing up and demanding better customer service and products. On the other hand, it takes a good financial foundation to be able to stand up to these corporations who participate in these types of practices. In this example, will I take a hit...of course I will, but I will recover. Will the dealership and Toyota take a hit of course, but they are a lot bigger than me so they will be able to brush that hit off rather quickly. In a case like this, i am just hoping logical thinking will prevail, because it seems to me they would go ahead and do the right thing and be done with it. If I return it they are going to have to fix the problem anyway, and like I said before they are not going to get 41,000 for a USED truck with 6 to 7 thousand miles on it. Who would buy a used 2016 truck with this sort of mileage and reported transmission problems when they can order a brand new one for the same cost.

If you have a problem with what Toyota does, shop some other company. Or start your own.
