true, read it and said my two cents, like I said I either ignore it and move on or chime in, just don't like seeing guys getting banned for the wrong reasons or because someone feels hurt.

No I do not at this time. I am in the market for one but due to many of the problems I hear people talking about i figuired I will order me a 2017. Hopefully by then many of these problems will be ironed out. It appears that my thread got a lot of people uptight. I do appreciate many of the comments I received. No harm intended. I read many of the threads about people experiencing problems with dealers and Tacoma in resolving their issues with their 2016 Tacoma. I for one own a 2006 Sport 4x4 and she is still running pretty good. Out of distrust of dealerships, I stop taking mine Tacoma in for maintenance after the warrenty expired. i have an excellant mechanic who does all of my work on my truck. My original suggestion of financing through Toyota was intended to give a buyer another level of protection in the event the dealership wants to dispute the warrenty or fail to fully honor the state lemon law. I do realize at this point a person would be walking a fine line here, and it could be a situation of who blinks first. I do also realize that this approach may not be for everyone in this sort of extreme situation.

I for one have visited several Toyota dealerships up and down the east coast over the past three months and have yet to find a competent salesman/lady. You would not believe the stuff that comes out of their mouths when talking about the 2016 tacoma. Just to think one of these Yo's Yo's want to sell me a $40,000 plus truck. If you cant tell the difference between a Sport and OR by looking at it then we have problems. It is my understanding that Toyota sends these people this includes their mechanics and managers as well to school to learn about a new model car/truck. My question would be what the hell are they learning. Now if I was to buy a truck and two months later I am having serious problems...you guessed it these are the same clowns I would have to deal with. Anyway, sooner or later I will have to take that chance in buying one and i just hope for the best.

If a dealership gives you trouble and your leasing Toyota doesn't care. They want there money. They will help you find another local dealer but you can't drop your truck off there and stop making the payments until your satisfied. It doesn't work that way

Just trade out schooling all their sales people for a free truck then you won't have to worry about any problems with it because it was free.
