I placed my order Oct 2015 and picked up Jan 2016.

    Took about 13 weeks!

Don't give up! I love mine!

Why and what are you trading to/for ? Love your taco since it's not a bro truck!

DCLB 4x4 was hard for me to find back in Feb of this year also in Los Angeles. Went all the way out to Crown Toyota in Ontario, CA and waited 6 months with no avail. Went short bed instead.

Ordered my DCLB TRD OR the first week of November with P&T and JBL and got a build date of the week of Dec 5. Keeping my fingers crossed that nothing changes. Was told by the dealer that LB and JBL are equally hard to get

Not being able to find a long bed must be a regional thing. There is still a brand new 2016 dclb on the lot here in oklahoma

Took me 2 months to find my truck, I wouldn't settle for something I didn't want. It's well worth the wait and the hunt

I finally found a TRD Offroad DCLB w/JBL, so I didn't have to order it. They are few and far between in Texas.

You just have to look far, wide and often. I searched seriosly for 10-12 weeks and found 2. The first one had the JBL and technology packages that I didnt want.

The second was the exact truck I wanted plus the predator steps and extra bed lights.

I found the easiest way was to build one on the main toyota website. When the inventory search said "exact match" i just searched all of the dealership websites manually until i located the truck. I will show i stock at the closest dealership. Mine was actually 2 hours away.

    Hope that helps!

Been keeping my eyes open just to see. It's like there's no tacomas anymore that aren't 4 door short beds. B.A.N.A.N.A.S.

After one hunting season under my belt, honestly I need a full size rig. I have two German shorthaired pointers and with all my camping gear and two kennels- it's just not enough room. Plus the new full size rigs get the same or better mpg as the Toyota. Not as off road capable, obviously, but I don't think I can reasonably have it all, lol.

I love this Tacoma, but it has it's shortcomings (as all vehicles do). My wife and I talked about it and I think I'll sell my 1998 Jeep Cherokee dedicated trail beater rig and look for a 1st or 2nd gen access cab truck (manual) as my dedicated trail beater. Let someone else enjoy the newer DCLB..

I'm going to put it up here for a week or so until my new rig get's sorted out. Dealer offered me a tremendous appraisal and trade in but maybe someone wants a DCLB with some tasty bits already added.

I was lucky when I got mine. They had two on the lot, same color but one with a tech package and one without. I went without the tech package. Hope you get yours! the extra bed length really helps when hauling stuff!!!

I ordered mine at two different dealers. Basically they get "allocation" and they order the way you want it. I wanted it all.

BTW, I ordered mine in AZ for $1K over invoice. Took about 2 months. I flew out and drove it home.

Go to the toyota dealer and order the truck and wait for it because it's better than buying the truck off the lot because people be test driving it and abusing it.

Go to CarGurus, and use it to filter by Crew Cab and then Long Bed, Trim OR and then you'll have a handful in your area to choose from.
That's what I did for the longest time until I gave up when I couldn't find anything and placed an order with my dealership. Ordered Late April, received early/Mid Sept. DCLB OR with P&T Quicksand

Thanks guys. Placed a deposit today. They are trying to get a truck that turned up about 100 mikes away. If that falls through they said they would modify an already allocated one with a build date around 12/9. Now the wait....
