    Hi Guys,

Would I do damage running a 2" spacer on the front temporarily till my Fox order gets here?

Long time lurker newish poster. I sprung for Deaver Stage II (no pun intended) and 2.0s for the rear and bought Dirt King bushing UCAs for the front of my 08' Double cab. I have ordered 2.5' coilovers for the front but they have 6-8 month lead time. Fox is a major vendor for the company I work for so we get Industry pricing which means I pretty much have to order from them.

That being said, I jumped the gun and put the Deavers, 2.0s and UCAs on which is 2"+ in the rear not broken in and a old saggy stock front. Would I be wrong to throw 2" spacers on the front to level out till my coilovers get here? I have a regrettable stinkbug stance going right now... help.

Why not order from a different vendor? I just ordered 2.5 Foxs from Poly Performance. Received in two days and there’s some good coupons that can be found online. I have the same setup, Fox 2.5, Deavers and DK UCAs.

If people can run squatted trucks, I think you’d be fine with a bit of rake.

All jokes aside, I think you’d be fine either way (leaving it or temporarily running spacers).

I think it’s kind of up to you wether you want to have rake or spend the extra money to have a leveled truck.

it should be fine with the spacers. just going to have to do an alignment.

wouldn't recommend doing off roading with them. wont have much downtravel.

If you can get a set from another company sooner than later, then I would personally wait. I sucks to have to muscle in and out coilovers once, let alone back to back. OTOH, if you're set on waiting until next year, then I would just install some spacers in the front. Orrrr just load up the bed with some weight so the rake isn't so terrible.

You'll be fine running a spacer in the meantime. Personally, I'd much rather do that than have a massive rake. Make sure to get an alignment so you don't ruin your tires in the next 6 months. But other than that I wouldn't worry about it. A 2" spacer lift (1" thick spacer => 2" lift) really isn't that crazy compared to what people do all the time without issues. I wouldn't hesitate to go off road either - don't go gnarly or anything of course. But based on your mods and your question it doesn't sound like you're a super experienced, hardcore offroader anyway.

I say throw the spacers on and don't look back.
