Seeking input on putting AUTO headlights on a truck that didn't come with them

Hey do you guys remember when the high beam switch was on the floor next to the clutch?

 

Yup. And before that, the start button was down there too.

 

FWIW, I ain’t scairt of $120+ for an oem sensor and clean install.

 

Ah my mistake, I thought you said before you got it working but it’s just more expensive

 

I did get it to "work", it just didn't work well for the set up. I kind of wish it did though.

 

My plan was to get the OEM one to work correctly, and then make the plug to match it. That way it could be added if people wanted. But i could not get it to behave in a regular fashion unfortunately. Might revisit it though…
