    On the fence. A touch more lift might be nice, but if doing so I'd also leave the overloads in the rear. Really it does what I need it too and handles exceptionally well with a good alignment without UCAs, so probably not.

    I was saying if running 1/4" spacers up front which provide 1/2" more lift, I'd leave the overloads in for 1/2" more lift in the rear to keep it balanced. If not running the spacers up front I'd leave the overloads out.

    Been reading this thread gotta say very nice write up. I love the amount of detail an research that has gone into this. Very thought out an deligent. I’ve read your other threads about lights I’m going to go that route. I ended up with icon setup front an rear with UCA’s for a killer deal would of done this instead if I seen it prior.

    I didn’t make it through the entire thread so if someone else already pointed this out my apologies.

    Your first post incorrectly states the progressive / digressive shocks change their stiffness as they change their position. Shocks change their force with velocity not position. Progressive shocks will have a concave up shaped curve on a force as a function of velocity and digressive will have concave down. This does not mean that the force from the shock is decreasing with increased velocity, it just means the RATE of increase is either increasing (progressive) or decreasing (digressive).

    Excellent catch, sometimes I over simplify in explanation. Should be position vs time, aka velocity. I’ll update the thread accordingly when I am not on mobile.

    Explaining shock behavior without using calculus terms is difficult to say the least.

    How is your rear suspension holding up with the AAL since it's been 2 years now? There is quite the lively debate in the 3G forum about whether the rear shocks handle lift well or not. I venture to say they will but you've documented your setup well over the years so I'm curious to know. Granted I know the part numbers on the Baja and Pro parts are different, but I'd have to believe they are at least equivalent.

    What's your take now that you've put some time and miles on your setup?

    No complaints or noticeable sagging, the truck drives fantastic. In the pro/baja the shocks are extended travel, on the 2nd gen they use the same Bilstein shock bodies and it is just valving and finish differences between them. 3rd Gen Pro uses completely different Fox shocks, so it isn't quite the same comparison. It all depends though on how much lift. I lifted my rear nearly the same as the additional extended travel provided by the Baja rear shocks, 1.5". Over-lifting on stock travel shocks will cause issues for the shock. But whether it is actually an issue you notice depends on how much lift and how you use your truck.

    I wasn't 100% clear in my original question. I purchased the Bilstein kit, not the Fox kit, so I was curious about the rear pieces. Your experience pretty much sums up what I'd expect, though.

    I apologize if I missed this, but are the front shock/springs assemble when you get the kit? If not, how hard is it to put them together. I just did struts on a Sienna, but they were pre-assembled. Worst part was rusty hardware.

    Great thread by the way. Been watching it for a while. Going to install this in the spring on my sagging 2013 DCSB TRD OR. Steering and handling are getting really weak now after 5 years and lots of off-road/hauling. Unfortunately I have the 3 leaf pack, but still planning the AAL. Thanks.

    Id suggest to start trying to find a 3+1 pack for cheap that someone is removing for a lift. Pretty common part for people to get rid of.
