i finally received a response pertaining to a plug and play for 2019 Tacoma SR. The techs where I purchased the truck said there is no wiring present for a plug and play in the above console. After market wiring would need to be used and said this will have conflicts on the warranty.
I just wanted to post this for new Tacoma owners who are thinking about installing a dimming mirror on the Tacoma SR with access cab. It is a no go for me

They can't deny your warranty for adding auto dimming mirror. They would have to prove it cause a problem.

Here is the email, you can come up with your own decision.

    Peter,

I did talk with one of our technicias and the SR is missing the wirimg harness that allows you to plug in the self dimining mirror. The only way to make it happen would be to get after market parts and do all the wiring yourself. We do not reccomend this due to the risk of any problems that would not be covered under warranty. If you need anything else please let us know.

    Sincerely,
    Amanda

Have you added fog lights? I wonder if it's missing the harness like the OEM fog lights?

Ahh , better off with the manual lever. I absolutely hate my auto dimming mirror. Takes a lot more light then what my eyes are comfortable with to start dimming. Thinking of adding a welding shade it. As it is I frequently open the glasses compartment to block most of the upper half of the mirror at night.

BogHog, did you check that pillar to see if a plug is there for the self dim mirror. I just checked your build and like your truck. I live in PA. And would want that underneath protection, so now I am off to do some search's.
