    Have you guys seen anything about polyfibroblast addiditive for paint?

    It's an additive that is added to primer to allow it the "heal" itself. It was developed by Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory in conjunction with the U.S. Navy for use in salt water environments. (Like winter on salty roads) When chipped, the primer will create a "scab" over the bear metal, preventing corrosion. Here are a couple links I found on it:

    I bet it is expensive, but I also think it would be nice as a coating for our frames. Just thought I would share.

    OME and worth every penny.
    Harley has advertised having it for a few years.......didn't see it working too well IMO.
