I have called Dicor and left messages. Searched the interwebs and not really found anything about this.

What do you all think about using some black self leveling lap sealant to seal around the edges of my sunroof? I would have it go from the edge of the metal surrounding the factory gasket/seal onto a bit of the glass to seal it all.

I don't have any desire to use it and supposedly the motor is weak and it leaks. PO had a bunch of duct/gorilla tape over it.

I have used the Dicor stuff to seal fans installed on a van and it works great, I just don't know if it adheres to glass at all.

Dicor got back to me. Said it bonds to glass just fine. Going to hopefully seal that sucker up today or tomorrow

Canopy, fitted seat covers, OBA with self leveling air bags, 100w solar, dual Rhino Rack Pioneer platforms, side & rear LED work/FU lights, CB, cell booster. 7x16 cargo conversion, 3" lift, 7'x6.5' fold down aluminum rear deck.
Question. Is there a gap that the sealant will flow down into? With the self leveling, it will find a hole and drain downward. So, nothing too big, and go back to refill voids and divots.
I use Geocel Proflex RV on my trailer. Not "self leveling", but it does level out a bit and sticks to pretty much anything I have touched it to. Cleanup before it starts to set with Q tips and rubbing alcohol. Once it sets, it is a PITA to clean up.

It is leaking because it is not supported somehow and has about a 1/4 gap between it and the roof and that is with some foam pressed in to support it. I don't care about it and don't want to fix it. I just want to seal it. Luckily it doesn't appear to have any blocked drains because the car doesn't smell and there is no rot taking place under the mats from running down the A frame.
