Hi, all - been doing some research and searching online and still coming back with questions.

I just picked up a '22 SR5 with the slightly larger screen on the head unit from the Nav Package that was offered that year. The factory sound system actually sounds pretty decent, even compared to my JBL '24 that I traded in for this '22. However, it is missing the low end bass that I'm seeking. I'm not looking to vibrate the windows loose or anything. I'm looking for something that would be easy to install and provide some decent low end support to the factory system that's a good value and reliable.

Any of the powered subwoofers out on the market that you feel is the best (doesn't have to be the cheapest - just want a quality product that does the job)?

I put a 10" Powered JL Audio sub behind the rear seat in my 2016. It fit perfectly. I had a shop install it but it's probably not too hard if you know what you are doing. It hits hard enough to vibrate the windows. I also have a sub volume dial next to my steering wheel that plugs into the sub.

There are SW's that fit under the (my) passenger seat. Fills in the low-end
    nicely.

I'm very content with my 8'' underseat powered Sub, under the drivers seat. It's wired behind the deck to the rear speakers which are useless, but are perfect for low level power input to the Sub. That and the tweeter upgrade made my system come alive.

Not sure if a 10" underseat powered Sub would fit, but I would consider it.

I don't recommend the under seat sammich subs. You can find a powered boxed version with better performance for similar cost.

    Powered Bazooka tubes.....

Does your amp ever turn off? That doesn't kill your battery?

I was looking at Crutchfield the other day and saw those - what a blast from the past for me! Back when I was in high school I had a pair of 6" Bazooka tubes behind the seat in my little Nissan mini truck. I can't believe they still make them!! Might be a winner just based on nostalgia, LOL.

Ive always been about real legit system, subs, boxes, amps, etc....
I had 2 10 bazookas in the trunk of my 95 mustang, sounded soooooo good in that application.
They just have an incredibly good boomy sound to them for what they are...

I see. I'm use to using the REM port to do that and I saw you had a jumper there from the power.
