Self Tuning

Hi, I have been looking for literally hours on tuning my 2.7l Prerunner double cab and I cannot for the life of me find a solution. I don't want to do the OTT tune (please don't ask why). VFtuner doesnt have any solution and neither does HPtuners. Does anyone know of a tuner I can buy and use myself? Thank you

 

What are you trying to achieve?

 

There isn't really much tuning support for the 2nd gen 2.7L probably because there isn't much there to be gained aside from re-mapping the throttle and tweaking transmission shift points if you have an auto, from what I understand only a select few 2nd gen 2.7L ECUs are supported. If neither HPTuners or VF Tuner supports yours then it likely isn't supported by anyone as they are 2 of the mainstream tuners that support Tacoma's.

Justin at OTT would probably know if anyone supports your ECU but sounds like you don't want to deal with them so I'm not sure what to tell you.
