Sell 2nd Gen for 1st Gen?

    you better jump on that Taco quick before it's gone. If you can accept the loss on buying the 2nd gen then do it. I sold my 00 Ex-Cab, and was lucky enough to find me an 04 D-Cab with only 30k. Good luck.......

    K&N cold air intake, doug thorley headers, rear sensor simulator, flowmaster 40 series, magnecor plug wires, Royal Purple synthetic gear lube, airaid throttle body spacer, Hyperground system, flex-a-lite elec fan.
    The only benifits I feel the 2nd gen has over the 1st is interior room and a lot of stability control. I drove a trd of and all the stability features it had were nice. That is the only reason I would ever switch. I agree with 1st gen > 2nd gen

    Took out the bench seat and but in leather racing bucket seats from Schucks, thus making mine a 2 seater. Put a leather steering wheel cover on.
    i like the 1st gen much better. it is smaller and has a smaller engine and looks cooler to be honest. but you already bought this truck so i would stay with what you got. i think the 2001 to 2004 model years are the coolest. im guessing you got a 4.0L V6 in yours, if you sold it and bought a 2004, you would get a 3.4L V6

    I have a nice 04 ext cab with 59k miles on it... If I had a 2nd gen and was looking to trade thats be the first gen to want!
