I own a 19 too...pretty much relegated to a safe queen now. For polymer, it's HK all the way for me.

    I agree 100% with this.
Honestly I’d keep that particular 19X simply for the fact it’s hard to come by.

How much work are those 80s? I've been thinking about snagging a few myself while they're still gray zone

The tan one I bought an entire kit for 430 shipped the cement one I’m about 600 deep into it but all that’s left to buy is a red dot.
Here’s the exact tan one took about 2 weeks to arrive fun project I learned a lot.

Not too shabby. And they ship to MD?

Just read their legal disclaimer it clearly says nothing about not shipping to MD. However says check your local laws etc sooo I’ll leave that up to your interpretation.:boink:

I totally missed your question about the work involved with the 80s. They send you a jig and some drill bits just some sanding of the molding tabs and a punch out for the recoil spring. After that just assemble the entire thing plenty of YouTube walk thrus I watched more hours in videos than it actually took. Total was about 3 hrs since I was very nervous the frame is wonky from my not so handy work but functions great.
Prior to this all I knew was basic field strip/cleaning of the platform gives you a great in-depth experience with it.

9mms, especially tricked out 9mms are going for crazy money on the open market. My normal sources have little to no stock. Recently, I offloaded three tricked out 9mm Gen 3 glocks at $1200 each, getting every dime I put into each of them and more. The market will change as manufacturing catches up to the rush, but for now, the demand is high and available volume is low. I have already replaced two of the three sold; one through the blue label program and the second through a custom build. Personally, I would capitalize on the demand, as long as you are getting crazy money for it and have others to take its place.

If you have other firearms, and feel like you could turn a decent profit in this one, I say sell it.

I prefer to just keep the 19 as is. You could always get a 17 and cut the grip short. But for appendix carry I don't want the muzzle to be digging in. The 19 can be challenging as it is, which is why I'm finding it easier to carry the 42, especially in the summer, which is like 10 months out of the year in Florida. The rest of the time its a light pullover or jacket. I'd like to get a 43, but also like to get a 20 MOS, and a long slide for competition.

I still haven't mastered appendix carry. I mean, it works when I'm standing, but any time I'm bending or sitting, anything I wear digs in. How do you position yours?

Slightly to the right of center. With the x300 it was a bit bulky, hopefully once I get a new holster for the xc it'll be a little easier. This one really wasn't made for appendix anyways. Kaluban Cloak.

I'm the odd man out I guess.

Picked up my truck 11-1-18, and made a very few changes the first 3 months I had it. I hated the grill, and the SR5 wheels. Other than gas I've not put a dime in it since. I'm good driving around in I guess what many would call an old mans truck.

I have bought 6 guns, and a few thousand rounds of ammo since then thou.

It's a little too late to be stocking up on ammo these days.

I'd hope most were stocking up over the summer, if they even needed stocking up.
