I did the same thing when I picked up my new 21 SR5.
Drove home then to Discount Tires the next day to get 4 Wildpeaks put on.
My son-in-law sold the new take-offs that week to a guy where he works for $550...and yeah, I gave him a really good commission on the sale!
Made a very nice dent in the cost of my Wildpeaks.

I don’t know if anyone who needs them. You think they’d be easy to sell off craigslist or FB with <20 miles on the tread?

My 2020 SR5 had the Firestone tires instead of the Toyo. I sold them with the SR5 black wheels (under 100 miles) for $800 on CL or FB, can’t remember. Quick sale. Good luck.

Thought the SR5 had 17" wheels. I used Discount Tire twice, first for the 2022 4X4 4Runner, straight from delivery to DT. It had Bridgestones on it, 44 miles. They gave me $65 per tire, purchased Michelin LTX/MS Defenders.
Next up, 2023 Tacoma TRD-DC-4WD. Had Goodyear OR tires on it, they gave me $75 per tire. Same Michelins mounted, only changed size from stock, used 265/75R16.
I have had 6 new 4R's, since 2008, never once did the tire stores get the balancing right the first time, same with the Tacomas.
Only reason I used DT this time, closer to our TN home.

I did the same thing, bought the truck and drove it to Discount Tire for some "real" tires (Grabbers FWIW). The originals have 331 miles on them (took a pic of odometer also.) They are still sitting in the garage rafters, I listed them a few times in various places at $150/tire and got zero hits. That was several years ago.

Guess I should try again since I now also have a full front and rear bumpers (uncut) and factory suspension and factory tow hitch stuff (because I replaced rear bumper too) and front grill (no radar "garnish") all hanging in the garage. Sheesh.

It all depends on each shop management. There are 3 DT locations around me, 2 are absolutely top notch, always busy, the other one is like Jiffy Lube.

Tires, Softopper, fully armored, winch, many pinstripes.
You might want to skip the Falkens and go with the Pathfinders they have. $55/tire cheaper, same look, usage, warranty, tread life as the Falkens. My Falkens wore out at 33,000, nowhere near the 55,000 they were supposed to last. I’m liking these Pathfinders very much so far. Falkens pricing went crazy in the last few years.

Take-offs make good spares. The tires that came on the 23' 4Runner are absolute gas guzzlers! They look cool but are not best for road/highway driving. Get some cooper at3.
