hey since it's only money, mind stuffing some in an envelope and sending it my way, It's just money.

Im only 2 pages in on this thread, but as others have said that truck will sell for about 35k, therefore you will not get 35k in a trade. But as has also been said, think of the tax savings on your new purchase. Factor that into the trade. Private sale would be harder and puts cash in your hands, that you then pay sales tax on when you buy again.

7 k based on the add ons, as the post above stated, part out the add ons. You need to decide whats your time worth, is it worth wild to spend the time? And why are you willing to lose a few grand on a brand new truck?

Hey OP I like that wheel set up you have. I agree with other posters that said to strip it before you trade it in. They won't care and you can sell the accessories on the side.

There is some benefit in buying a used Tacoma at the dealer. Often Toyota will back the vehicle with a 7-year/100K mile warranty if it is certified used. Some financiers like NFCU will offer financing rates on a new vehicle because it is a 2016.

isn't a vehicle still considered new within a certain time frame and under 5k miles.

I know that's what I was told by my credit union, I'm going to refinance away from 3% to 1.9% this month.

I financed through toyota in December for the discounts.

Yeah I had the Tundra. Loved the engine except for fuel economy. Also it was just too big of a truck to drive around everyday for me. I love the fuel economy of the 3rd gen, it's just I hate that it feels like a dog

Maybe to your credit union but in terms of buying and selling no, once it is "paid for" by a customer it is used. When I was looking at Tacomas I even saw brand new 2016s that never left the dealership, with less than 200 miles, that had to be sold as certified pre owned.
