Maybe a stupid question but I'm not sure what to do. I want to sell my LRB M14-SA because I'm college right now and I want some cash for other things.

Problem is that it's disassembled. Whoever put it together I guess didn't install the barrel correctly. I went to remove the gas cylinder plug to clean the rifle one day and the barrel began to unscrew instead.
I left the (all parts are USGI Winchester) barrel off because I wanted to get a nice heavy Krieger barrel on it anyway. Haven't been able to afford one because I've been blowing all my extra money on the truck.

So the rifle sits disassembled in storage. I want to sell the thing but can/should I sell it as is? Should I put the old barrel back on? Should I invest in a Krieger? I thought that if I left it as is, someone who wants the rifle could either find a competent gunsmith to reinstall the old barrel or pick a new barrel of their choice.:notsure:

I'm not worried about trying to get top dollar for the thing, I just want to get it sold so I have some more cash to burn.
